Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple, is a contemporary Buddhist temple located in Chiang Rai, Thailand. The temple was designed by artist Chalermchai Kositpipat and construction began in 1997. The temple is known for its intricate white exterior and beautiful murals inside.

The temple is open daily from 8am to 6pm and admission is free. However, donations are welcomed to help with the ongoing construction and maintenance of the temple.

To visit Wat Rong Khun, visitors can take a tuk-tuk or taxi from the city center of Chiang Rai. The temple is located about 13 kilometers south of the city.

In addition to Wat Rong Khun, there are several other attractions in the area worth visiting. The nearby Black House, also known as Baan Dam Museum, is a collection of dark and eerie buildings filled with unique art and artifacts. The museum is open daily from 9am to 5pm and admission is 80 baht.

Another nearby attraction is the Singha Park, a vast park with beautiful scenery, tea plantations, and animal exhibits. The park is open daily from 9am to 6pm and admission is free.
